What's Up With 3-on-3

Basketball Runs?

As people who live and breath basketball, the coaches and trainers behind 3on3 Runs set out to create a fun and exciting environment where players could play the game with less stress, more touches per game, and greater opportunities to learn the game through self correction and exploration. The 3-on-3 format provides a perfect avenue for fun, experience and improvement. Join us as we redefine the way kids experience the game, bringing together players of all skill levels and ages to build their talents on the court.

With this format, parents don’t have to worry about expensive costs for games or traveling, as all of our local games have no spectator fee and no high upfront charge. Convenience is also maximized as players don’t have any mandatory practices, and game scheduling requests are accepted. We know that players and families alike will find immense satisfaction in this refreshing approach to experiencing basketball!

Rules & Philosophy

3 ON 3 RUNS PHILOSOPHY

3 on 3 leagues and tournaments are FOR THE PLAYERS! Gone are the days kids would meet at a park and play pick-up, learning how to compete, and discovering their game and creativity on the fly. Kids need to enjoy the sport and the joy of competition in order to want to continue to play and improve. 3 on 3 seeks to restore this experience and the key focus is FUN! This is an opportunity to develop basketball skills in a non-coached, low-stress environment. We encourage healthy competition in which kids play hard and play to win, but not at the expense of belittling opponents, yelling at officials or displaying poor sportsmanship. We ask that players and parents conduct themselves appropriately and exhibit good sportsmanship.
